Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Mechanical Facilities Technician for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is initially a 12-month contract.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and support water systems (chilled, condensate, towns), boilers, chillers, cooling towers, steam distribution, low-pressure hot water, and door management.
* Maintain mechanical assets for the WWTP, including pumps, mixers, pipework, and related systems.
* Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems.
* Support mechanical system upgrades, modifications, and project activities.
* Oversee maintenance of drainage systems, sprinkler systems, and safety-related equipment.
* Work with other teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and compliance.
* Ensure all activities comply with environmental, safety, GMP, EHS, and local standards.
Requirements
* Trade qualification or Mechanical Engineering degree.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in facilities/utilities management within GMP or regulated environments.
* Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems (chillers, boilers, process piping, utilities distribution).
* Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
* Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
