Description Internal Competition (Brain Injury / Stroke / Spinal Cord System of Care / Polar / Paediatric / Outpatient Programmes) Permanent / Temporary / Full-Time / Part-Time Panel Positions We are seeking an experienced Senior Psychologist with an interest in acquired disability and rehabilitation to join our team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH).

The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms, possess:
A recognised university degree or diploma obtained with first- or second-class honours, with Psychology as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject. A recognised postgraduate professional psychological qualification appropriate to the designated area of professional psychology.
Candidates trained outside Ireland must have their qualification validated by the Department of Health and Children. Minimum of five years of satisfactory postgraduate experience in professional psychology, including no more than three years of postgraduate training and at least two years (Full-Time Equivalent) as a staff grade psychologist. The necessary knowledge and ability, including high standards of clinical ability and suitability, to perform the duties of the role. Evidence of assessment, formulation, and intervention with patients from various clinical cohorts, including acquired disability. Experience supervising staff and/or psychology trainees/students. Interdisciplinary teamwork experience is advantageous. For candidates interested in neuropsychology specialization, fulfillment of the Division of Neuropsychology of the Psychological Society of Ireland requirements is necessary. ______________________________________________________________________________
