Duty Manager
Our client-one of Ireland's leading big box retailers-is searching for an exceptional Duty Manager to bring energy, leadership, and passion to their store operations in Co. Limerick.
As Duty Manager, you won't just oversee the store-you'll be the driving force behind operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and a thriving team culture. You'll inspire a team of enthusiastic professionals, championing high standards and making every day in-store a great one for customers and colleagues alike.
Responsibilities of the role:
1. Lead Daily Store Operations: From stock control and merchandising to staffing and compliance, ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
2. Champion the Customer Experience: Bring energy and passion to every interaction, creating memorable shopping experiences that build loyalty and trust.
3. Inspire & Motivate Your Team: Lead by example, setting high standards and cultivating a team culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and results.
4. Problem-Solve in Real Time: Use your initiative and quick thinking to resolve challenges and keep operations running smoothly.
5. Communicate with Clarity: Maintain open and productive lines of communication between your team and senior management, ensuring everyone is aligned and supported.
Skills and experience required:
6. Proven track record in retail management, ideally in a big box or large-format store.
7. Experience leading teams of 25+.
8. Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills.
9. Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
10. A customer-first mindset with a passion for retail excellence.
Salary package:
11. Salary 35-43K negotiable but must reflect experience
