Business Data Governance Specialist
Implementing robust data governance standards, policies, and procedures is crucial for business operations. As a site expert on data governance, you will play a vital role in the Regeneron IOPS Data Governance and Integrity program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement data governance standards, policies, and procedures within designated business areas.
* Provide guidance and advice to assigned business units on data governance priorities and action plans.
* Evaluate assigned business units' current policies and processes, ensuring achievement of local KPIs.
* Conduct regular data audits and assessments to identify data governance issues and work with business areas to prepare for data governance auditing and inspections.
* Collaborate with data governance business partners, technical experts, and ECM experts to deliver the data governance plan and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
* Encourage a culture of quality and data governance within the organization, promoting its importance across all departments.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure best-in-class data governance practices.
* Emphasize continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback and supporting initiatives designed to enhance data quality and governance.
* Lead/support initiatives to embed data governance principles into the company's core values and everyday practices.
This role requires:
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g., GDPR, FDA, EMA, WHO).
* Proven success in implementing and managing policies in regulated environments.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Skill in stakeholder management and influence.
* Experience with quality systems and change management.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a BA/BS degree and 7+ years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in pharmaceutical/FDA regulated work areas such as data management & operations, quality assurance, compliance, manufacturing operations, quality control, or IT.
