Job Description
The Accounting & Operations Department is responsible for a broad range of functions, including: fund accounting; operations; position, P&L and exposure reporting; valuation; risk management design and reporting; and liquidity management.
This individual will be responsible for European loan asset administration, including daily cash account and position reconciliations, tracking and applying interest accruals, rate resets, paydowns, and monthly tie out of data files with the Trustee.
This individual will also provide operational support including, but not limited to, setting up investments and issuers in OMS, coordinating financing for CLO warehouses, monthly accruals and price verification of European CLO portfolios.
Responsibilities to include: Perform daily portfolio reviews and reconciliations with the trustee and administrative providersReconciliation of monthly CLO reporting and quarterly distributionsMonitor portfolio corporate actions and ensure the proper actions and updates are done internally and with service providersClosely monitor deal and warehouse cash balances and perform calculations for warehouse fundings and prepare drawdown requestsInvolvement in new issue CLO warehouse management, closing date, and effective date procedures and ongoing coordination with audit and tax teamsSupport Research and Trading teams in CLO transactions, including new issue, resets, & refinancingsWorking with fund accountants and administrators to resolve any bank loan related inquiries or discrepanciesAssisting with ad hoc projects, reporting and analysis as assignedRequirements Bachelor's degree in finance or the equivalent is required4-6 years of Bank Loan and/or CLO Structured Credit experienceKnowledge of Virtus/Nexus and Wall Street Office is a plusUnderstanding of Credit Agreements, Indentures, funding memos, agent notices and LSTA/LMA trade documentationLoan administration including interest and principal payments, cash and positions tie outsStrong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to handle large data setsAttention to detail and ability to organize, prioritize, resolve issues, and escalate when appropriateStrong interpersonal and communication skills, team playerAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentKnowledge of Wall Street Office is a plusMust be highly motivated and able to work in global team environmentAble to work well under pressureKing Street is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable adjustments to qualified candidates and employees pursuant to applicable law.
