This role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, assisting with reporting, and contributing to month-end and year-end activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting SupportMaintain up-to-date financial records and ledgers.Process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.Reconcile bank accounts and assist with AP/AR tasks.Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.Accounts Payable & ReceivableReview and code invoices, ensuring proper approvals.Prepare payment runs and manage supplier/customer queries.Resolve discrepancies promptly and maintain accurate documentation.Financial ReportingAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.Support budget monitoring and variance analysis.Compile data for audits and internal reviews.Keep financial files organised.What you'll need to succeed!1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting supportStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Good organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.Experience with ERP systemsKnowledge of accounting principles.Prior exposure to AP/AR processes.For more information, including package details, please contact Mary at Reed Belfast, apply via this advert, or contact me confidentially on LinkedIn
