The Role
GMC Utilities Group is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure project. This is a key strategic role, requiring on-site presence across the North West of Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in utility infrastructure, with a deep understanding of Design & Build (D&B) contracts.

Key Responsibilities
* Managing commercial aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Overseeing cost planning, forecasting, and value engineering.
* Leading contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
* Providing input to strategic decisions affecting commercial performance and risk.
* Supporting tender submissions, subcontractor procurement, and pricing strategies.
* Engaging collaboratively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
* Managing change control, claims, and dispute resolution.
* Delivering accurate and timely reports on project financials.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager on large infrastructure projects.
* Extensive experience in utility infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of Design & Build contracts.
* Ability to be based in or travel to Mayo/Roscommon during the work week.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
