Job Title: Construction Scheduler

About the Role:

\

We are seeking a motivated individual with construction experience to join our team as a Construction Scheduler. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects.

\

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project planning and execution across multiple sites, working closely with site teams, quantity surveyors, and project managers.

\

Main Responsibilities:

\

1. Develop and update project schedules using Microsoft Project, encompassing the full project scope, key milestones, and timelines, using Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
\
2. Prepare tender and construction programmes and methodologies for both traditional and design & build projects.
\
3. Produce lookahead programmes, progress trackers, and assist in developing as-built programmes.
\
4. Support project teams by identifying risks and offering planning solutions.
\
5. C coordinate with internal stakeholders including site teams, QS teams, and project managers etc.
\
6. Facilitate white board meetings to review programme status and collaborate on weekly planning.
\
7. Assist in establishing project resource requirements.
\
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and reporting tools.
\
9. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

\

A relevant third-level qualification in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management or comparable construction industry experience is required. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction sector, is also necessary.

\

Proficiency in Microsoft Project is essential. Strong IT skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and planning documentation, are also required.

\

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organisational and time management abilities, are vital for this role.

\

Knowledge of planning software or lean scheduling tools (e.g., Last Planner, Primavera) is an advantage.

\
