We form part of the MHL Hotel Collection, a renowned portfolio of well known, high profile Hotels throughout Ireland and operate under the Marriott International, Autograph Collection About the role Responsibilities will include: High level of culinary preparation in busy pastry kitchen in a 5* hotel Creation of afternoon teas, pastries, desserts, and cakes for our various outlets Maintenance of HACCP and sanitisation principles and protocols in the pastry kitchen Communication with senior kitchen team on the day to day running of the area The Ideal candidates will possess: Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions. Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of employees and guests as appropriate. Knowledge of food safety handling. Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals. Ability to prioritise, organise and follow up. Ability to focus attention on details. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have training and experience in a high standard food prep and service environment. Covid restrictions may impact occupancy at short notice. You will be required to work 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
