Who are we looking for? This position is a fixed-term contract until June 2026 and offers the selected candidate the chance to gain experience to all areas of Ownership Verification and AIFMD/UCITS V regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the team Officer, the candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for Depositary duties outlined in the AIFMD and UCITS V regulations.
The candidate is required to demonstrate a good knowledge of Ownership Verification work processes and a broad understanding of related activities.
Your manager will assign you to particular responsibilities consistent with the needs of the business.
Continuous improvement is an ongoing task and varying degrees of responsibility will be assigned to you in the context of any given project or initiative.
In essence, you are a self-starter, capable of interpreting complex problems and recommending and driving appropriate solutions.
The candidate needs to have a comprehensive overview of all service providers interacting with a Fund.
What You Will Be Responsible For: Carry out reviews within the Ownership Verification team.
Ensure material items are fully investigated and actioned on a timely basis.
Escalate any anomalies detected in any Ownership Verification tasks and/or queries that are outstanding in accordance with the AIFMD/UCITS V escalation process.
Contribute new ideas / procedures to further streamline the operational processes.
Resolution of internal queries in a timely manner.
Manage Client queries to ensure the highest level of service.
Build strong working relationships across the business.
Identify any risks within the daily oversight and ensure that these are addressed.
What We Value: These skills will help you succeed in this role.
A good understanding of the regulatory framework for Funds (UCITS/Non-UCITS/AIFMD) would be an advantage.
Relevant industry experience (not necessarily within a Trustee/Depositary role).
Strong Excel/Word skills.
Experience in reviewing others work.
Experience/Qualifications: A primary degree is all we ask, but Finance knowledge will provide a great start for you.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Highly computer literate.
Skilled communicator, both verbal and written.
Organized and methodical.
Team player.
