About the Job:
* Develops and manages solar farm projects and other renewable technologies.
* Sources new opportunities, negotiates with landowners, designs project outlines, assesses resources, conducts environmental work, manages stakeholders and oversees development projects through planning.
Responsibilities:
* Liaises with consultants to manage planning studies including visuals, EIA assessments and stakeholder engagement.
* Efficiently interacts with external stakeholders including landowners, politicians, planners, third-party consultants and specialists, utilities and public bodies.
* Efficiently communicates with internal stakeholders including Senior Management, Corporate Development, Renewables Team, Renewables O&M Team and Regulation.
* Performs resource assessments.
* Secures planning consents and amendments.
* Ensures planning compliance pre-construction.
* Makes input into technology selection.
* Negotiates commercially with stakeholders and project counterparties.
* Manages risks and opportunities and reports on each project.
* Makes input to regulatory lobbying.
* Provides regular reporting on projects.
