Volunteer Engagement & Organisational Development Lead
This role combines organisational development and communications expertise to enhance engagement with volunteer-involving organisations across Dublin City.
The Volunteer Engagement & Organisational Development Lead will drive strategic communication efforts, build relationships with organisations, develop new partnerships, promote best practices in volunteer management, share resources and good volunteering practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Organisational Development and Capacity Building:
* Engage with new organisations, assessing their needs and ensuring they understand services and support for volunteer programmes.
* Develop strategies to strengthen relationships, offering tailored advice, resources, and training on volunteer management best practices.
* Support organisations in creating diverse and inclusive volunteering opportunities across various sectors and geographical areas.
* Collaborate with organisations to design capacity-building events, including training sessions, workshops, and leadership training.
* Promote quality standards for volunteer management and engagement across Dublin City.
* Ensure organisations are informed about relevant events, sector developments, and updates via email, website, social media, and other channels.
Communications and Stakeholder Engagement:
* Lead communications efforts to maintain a consistent brand and voice across all platforms.
* Develop and oversee the communications strategy.
* Share resources, insights, and best practices with stakeholders.
* Manage the organisation's website as a key source of information for volunteer management.
* Develop and execute marketing campaigns.
* Oversee volunteer communication strategies.
Collaboration and Strategic Initiatives:
* Work with external partners to promote best practices and innovation in volunteer management.
* Collaborate to identify opportunities for strategic initiatives that further objectives in volunteer support and organisational engagement.
* Participate in team discussions and peer learning activities.
