Oracle Database Administrator- 6 Month Temporary Contract

My client is a leading brand who deliver infrastructure and utility services for Ireland to support economic development.
About the Position
Our client has an immediate requirement for an Oracle Database Administrator to join their team.
This role will be based within the Financial & Operational Reporting Team and initially focused on a specific project for 6 months, with a high likelihood of developing into a longer term role with broader scope.
The role is a Hybrid position with 2 days per week in office and the remainder working remotely. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organised and have great attention to detail. Previous administration experience is required and experience with Oracle databases would be ideal but all training will be provided.
If you have an interest, experience or qualification in accounting or finance this will be a huge benefit but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Grant access to Oracle system as per existing process and procedure
* Performing all the required task as per formal relevant procedures
* Monitor all governance around Oracle access including checking existing access is still appropriate, following up possible conflicting issues, etc…
* Monitor and organize significant amount of correspondence through emails
* Support the project manager on any analysis requirement including leasing with relevant business unit re specific requests and or required updates to either processes or system itself, excel analysis
* Support the wider team with excel analysis requirement
* Assist with support queries and tickets
Experience/Requirements
* Excellent organizational and administration skills
* Being comfortable with the use of system (Oracle knowledge is a very big plus)
* Excellent analysis skills and knowledge of excel
* Ability to comply with strict timelines
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with wider teams in the business
Remuneration Package
€37,000 - €46,000 depending on experience (hourly pay and pro rata for 6 month contract)
