Key Responsibilities
Assist the Account Director with day-to-day management of an existing book of professional indemnity accounts.
Prepare and process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations.
Liaise with insurers to negotiate favorable terms, cover, and pricing.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly to client queries, providing exceptional service and technical guidance.
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the existing client base.
Support claims handling, ensuring timely and effective resolution for clients.
Stay up to date with market developments, industry trends, and insurer appetites in the professional indemnity sector.
Skills & Experience
Previous insurance experience (commercial lines preferred; professional indemnity highly advantageous).
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Competent in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
APA (Accredited Product Adviser) or CIP (Certified Insurance Practitioner) qualification is required.
