Are you a recent Graduate with a background in Electronics or Electrical Engineering? We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician / Junior Electronic Engineer to work in Limerick & support hardware development and prototyping activities.
Working in a team environment you will be responsible for some of the following duties:
1. Assemble and test cable harnesses and connectors to specification
2. Perform soldering on PCBs, including surface mount and through-hole components
3. Support the development, preparation, and setup of electronic demos
4. Assist engineers with hardware assembly, basic troubleshooting, and rework
5. Maintain lab equipment, tools, and inventory of components
6. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and documentation in the lab
7. Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to support ongoing projects
Qualifications & Skills:
8. Diploma or Degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
9. Proven hands-on experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and cable making
10. Familiarity with PCB rework, soldering standards (e.g., IPC), and demo setups
11. Good understanding of electronic components and wiring diagrams
12. Experience with basic test equipment.
13. Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines
14. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
15. Knowledge of ESD-safe practices & understanding of High Voltage would be an advantage.
