System Architect Position
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining digital systems and infrastructure onsite.
This key role focuses on the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house systems that support manufacturing functions. The successful candidate will take ownership of the support of systems and applications used to support the manufacturing process, monitor existing systems to ensure structural integrity, and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence tools used to manage the manufacturing process.
The system architect will identify potential risks that could impact the systems performance, security, or reliability, provide technical direction to the wider engineering team with respect to digitalisation strategy, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
* A degree in a software or IT related discipline or related field with equivalent technical experience.
* At least 4 years' experience in software development, IT, or a related field.
* Working knowledge of Power BI, Ignition, DeviceWise is an advantage.
* Experience of programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, C++ is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Relevant professional body qualification or accreditations.
* Understanding and experience with Object Oriented Programming.
Location: Limerick
Work Schedule: Full-time onsite in a hybrid office / factory environment
