Senior Quantity Surveyor
Walls Construction are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on exciting, progressive projects in Dublin.

Responsible for the commercial and contractual performance of building projects. Candidates should have appropriate professional qualifications in quantity surveying and a minimum of 10 years' experience gained with a main building contractor.
Responsibilities:
* Post tender and pre contract activities: familiarisation with the tender file and assisting with preparing commercial targets for the project.
* During the contract period: the procurement of subcontractors, attending pre-award meetings, documentation and schedules, applications, variation schedules, measurement, controlling accounts, payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence and final account.
* During the post contract period: finalise subcontractor accounts and complete all filing and other documentation.
* Accurately quantify work packages based on drawings and calculate pricing by applying predefined rates.
* Manage Sub-Contractors Accounts for initial award to interim Valuation, variations, and final accounts.
* Managing forecast and cash flow of the projects
* Oversee the project budget in alignment with directives from the Project Director.
* Handle pertinent communication with clients.
* Create monthly reports following established procedures.
* Participate in monthly meetings with commercial and subcontractor teams.
* Skilfully mediate and resolve disputes between clients and subcontractors.
* Ensure prompt submission of claims and notices as stipulated in the contract.
* Record any cost adjustments to project scopes and prepare monthly valuations and the final assessment.
* Excellent IT systems knowledge is expected as is the ability to work in teams, to be organised self starters and possess excellent communication skills, written and oral.
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience gained with a main building contractor.
* Bachelor's degree or relevant Qualifications in Quantity Surveying
* Good communication, and time management skills.
