Full time, permanent post, and reporting to the Director of Services.
My client, a private healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist for their Kildare, Laois, Offaly and Westmeath based residential and community sites.
The role will suit someone coming from Speech and Language background in clinical or acute services who has experience working with adults and children who have an Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder or Acquired Brain Injury, together with other complex needs.
You will be asked to remain 3 days onsite and 2 days remote working.
Key Duties:
1. Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
2. Providing therapy sessions to clients, both one-on-one and in group settings, using evidence-based techniques.
3. Collaborating with families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and holistic care.
4. To Liase with the multidisciplinary team and report cases to the Clinical Manager.
5. Document all assessments, diagnoses, treatment / intervention plans, clinical notes and manage all caseloads.
6. Provide clinical leadership in the day-to-day running of the service.
Essential Criteria:
7. Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
8. Registered with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland.
9. A Full Driving License and access to own car.
10. 1 year's post qualification clinical experience.
