You will work closely with EAX's "In-Game Experiences" team.This team is responsible for EA Connect, our in-game social overlay facilitating cross-platform party, voip, quick messaging and game invites. EA Connect is used in most EA Sports titles and Battlefield 6. The team is also responsible for the standalone EA Connect mobile app.About the Role: The Associate Quality Designer position will require you to provide oversight of our quality processes and establish best practices for our analyst family, together with our leadership team. You will oversee the entire quality plan and and to agree on quality and feedback for new features.Your ResponsibilitiesQuality Strategy and Test PlanningLeverage testing skills and methodologies to systematically test the product and share resultsIdentify risks and plan testing for releasesCreate, build, and manage test plansQuality and Data AnalysisReport high-impact or complex bugs and provide actionable feedback to improve the quality of the game for playersEvaluate and adopt the latest and best practices from other teams, departments or the industryCollaboration and CommunicationBuild partnerships/Collaborate with development, production, and design teams and other partnersProvide progress and status updates through reporting and verbal communication, where neededRepresent the QA perspective effectively in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritisedMentorship and Team SupportSupport senior team members in the implementation of quality strategiesDrive improvements and knowledge sharing across teamsOur RequirementsExperience and KnowledgeUnderstanding of quality assurance processes, workflows, and defect and task tracking softwareIn-depth knowledge of current generation consoles and mobile devices.Experience of testing on development kits will be a bonusSkills And AbilitiesAbility to design test strategies and communicate them effectivelyExcellent collaboration and communication skillsWork Model: Hybrid, 3 days a week in our Galway office.About Electronic ArtsWe're proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations around the world, and opportunities across EA.
