My client, based in Co. Meath, is an established, 3-Director Chartered Accountancy firm that has been delivering premium services across Ireland for over 30 years. Boasting a diverse and impressive client base spanning corporate audits, non-audits, and sole traders across multiple sectors they offer a collaborative team environment without the extreme overtime demands of larger firms.
The Role
They are seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Audit Administrator to join them on a full-time or part-time basis (3 days a week). This is a vital support role focused on keeping our audit files, client compliance, and internal workflows moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Audit File Prep & Support: Prepare audit packs and working paper files using OmniPro; perform basic audit testing under supervision and manage post-audit archiving.
Compliance & AML: Conduct client identification/proof of address checks, assist with CRAs, and maintain audit-ready compliance trackers.
Client Coordination: Send information request lists, track incoming data, and proactively chase outstanding client items.
Admin & Quality Control: Assist in drafting basic sections of audit reports, update standard templates, and support general practice management administration.
What You Bring
Experience: 2+ years of general accounting practice experience in Ireland.
Knowledge: A solid, practical understanding of basic accounting and auditing standards.
Traits: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and comfortable communicating directly with clients
CCH Accounts Production, OmniPro Working Papers, Sage Line 50, DRIVE, and Virtual Cabinet is a plus but will training will be provided
