If you have proven skillsets in managing group reservations and meetings & events bookings in a multifaceted resort then we would love to hear from you.Key Areas of ResponsibilityReservations & Diary ManagementMeetings & Events CoordinationClient Communication & Relationship ManagementAdministration & ReportingSales SupportJob PurposeThe Group Reservations and M&E Executive is responsible for handling and processing all group reservations and meetings & events bookings for Glasson Lakehouse. The role ensures maximum hotel revenue, guest satisfaction, and seamless coordination of bookings, while maintaining high standards in line with the hotel's business plan, policies, and service concepts.This role also supports the sales team by maintaining accurate client files, preparing contracts, coordinating client meetings, and ensuring the smooth delivery of events from enquiry through to completion.Role ResponsibilitiesReservations & Diary ManagementMaintain and update the function and reservations diary.Input all business enquiries, provisional, tentative, and confirmed bookings into Thynk.Manage daily amendments to M&E and bedroom group bookings.Chase and input rooming lists, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Meetings & Events CoordinationPrepare quotations, proposals, and contracts for bookings.Coordinate client meetings to finalise event details.Ensure event summaries and banqueting event orders are produced and signed off in line with timelines.Prepare function sheets for function sheet meetings.Conduct on-site client inspections where required.Client Communication & Relationship ManagementHandle all initial enquiries promptly and professionally.Consistently follow up on bookings to maximise conversion into confirmed business.Update client files in line with hotel standards.Chase decision dates and ensure all updates are reflected in Thynk.Administration & ReportingMaintain accurate and detailed client and booking records.Prepare relevant reports for M&E and group reservations.Monitor budgets across relevant areas such as room hire and accommodation rates.Sales SupportAssist the sales team by scheduling appointments, sales calls, and site inspections as required.Support targeted sales initiatives to maximise revenue opportunities.Preferred Experience & SkillsPrevious experience in reservations, events coordination, or a similar hospitality role.Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in booking and CRM systems (experience with Thynk an advantage).Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.Sales-focused with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.A proactive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills.Benefits:Global discounted staff room rates across the groupEligible for a bonus50% off Food and 25% Beverage across the groupAccrued Annual Leave with ServiceFriends and Family discountGym Membership Discounts*Continual training and developmentCareer progression within the GroupGratuities *Meals on shiftBike to work schemeTaxsaver for travelRefer a friend schemeWellness at work events and access to wellness platformEmployment Assistance ProgrammeGroup discounts for cinema tickets, shopping deals etcTeam appreciation daysService recognitionRegular fun-filled activities and gatherings for all teams across the groupApplicable to certain positionsDean Group owns and operates a number of hotel across Ireland, in certain instances we may feel your skills and experience may suit another role we have available.
