This is modern retail convenience shop, with multiple services, like a fast-paced convenience shop, off licence, forecourt but particularly known for its fast paced deli and good service.This is a dynamic award-winning retail business who partners with Skillnet Ireland and other Retail governing bodies, to drive success not only for them, but their teams as well, to help grow their careers and enhance their education. Flexible working hours, typically early shifts and occasional Sunday work.The ideal candidate for this Deli Supervisor Job:Previous experience working with food in a busy high pressured environment,Strong with stock control experience, placing orders for different fresh food produce.Holding high standards in your expectations of customer service, cleanliness and merchandising fresh food displays.Strong organisational skillsBe able to work both in a team and on your own initiativeMust be competent with food safety and HACCP requirements.Responsibilities for this Deli Supervisor Job:Support the Deli Manager with the running of busy delicatessen department, ready-made meals, hot counter, cold food offering and salad barResponsible for up to 3-5 staff members, organizing work to be completed on time, and supervising the quality of people's work.Ensuring the department has the correct amounts of stock to trade for the week, using technology, liaising with the retail manager to review sales reports to analyze stock levels and reduce waste and shrinkage.Staying on top of all food safety protocols like hygiene records and HACCP recordsMaintaining the standards across all your assigned departments, ensuring your teams know the expectation of work required of them,Training and coaching deli staff, to ensure they follow procedures and excel in their roles to increase department performancesContact Blue Forge Recruitment at or visit our website Blue Forge Recruitment | Recruitment Agency to learn more about how we can assist you in advancing your career.
