- Coeur & Filtertek supplying medical devices and components to global medical device brands.Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components.Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic General Accountability: Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and leading employees in a Medical Device assembly environment, planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvement in production methods, equipment operating procedures and working conditions.Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the shift team to ensure their safety and achieve production goals.Lead daily huddles, assign tasks, ensure GMP/clean-room rules are followed.Responsible for Shift adherence to Quality & Health & Safety standards.Understanding of Critical to Quality functions as per Internal Product Specifications First escalation for quality deviations, process deviations, and equipment problems and employee issues.Review and approve manufacturing records for accuracy and completeness in accordance with procedures.Partner with peers to identify and implement document improvements for improved metric performance Record all Production Quality & Health & Safety incidents for Morning Meeting Review Run shift handover (clear, documented) to next shift Cost savings ideas & action plans related to manufacturing operations supporting site cost savings strategy using USa, MRD Co-ordinate with HR re onboarding, attendance, training, employee issues and performance management for all their team Co-ordinate the validation of new products, processes or equipment on their shift Set up & Troubleshooting Automation & Molding Material Handling Support Support and execute 6 S initiatives Competence in use of ERP system Qualification/Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Environment Technical or Engineering Qualification an advantage Experience in Injection Molding and/or Automation processes is critical to this role.Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics or electric systems Technical capabilities are sufficient to be able to do production machine troubleshooting.Ability to train and coach others from a production perspective.
