Electrical Project Lead
* About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Manage the full life cycle of electrical construction projects ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety standards.
o Oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of all electrical systems, including containment, lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and data infrastructure.
o Supervise and coordinate on-site teams including electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and budgets.
o Review technical drawings and specifications; ensure works meet client and regulatory requirements.
o Liaise with project managers, clients, and other contractors to maintain seamless site coordination and efficient workflows.
o Monitor project progress, address issues or delays proactively, and maintain comprehensive site documentation.
o Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal safety procedures.
o Lead inspections, testing, and verification activities during construction phases.
o Contribute to continuous improvement in on-site safety, operational efficiency, and team performance.
* Requirements:
o Fully qualified electrician with a National Craft Certificate or relevant third-level qualification.
o 5+ years' post-qualification experience working in industrial or commercial electrical installations.
o Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or construction management role.
o Strong technical knowledge of: electrical containment systems, 3-phase power and distribution, lighting systems, fire alarms, and data cabling.
o Experience managing RAMS, permit-to-work systems, and safety documentation.
o Demonstrated leadership skills with a commitment to quality and safety culture.
