Due to the expansion of our portfolio, a national position has become available for a Pharmacy Account Manager, based in Dublin. Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for leading out at field level on product and business development within the Hospital Pharmacy setting. Requirements for Pharmacy Account Manager The ideal candidate will have either: A minimum of 2 years hospital sales, with experience in the Hospital Pharmacy department. A minimum of 2 years working as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician with strong commercial acumen. A track record in sales would be a distinct advantage. Bachelors degree and/or a pharmaceutical diploma (or equivalent) is mandatory. Ability to build rapport and convey confidence and credibility to key decision makers in a clinical environment. Ability to identify customer needs and develop strategies to address these needs. Ability to comprehend and converse on complex technical/ clinical information. Excellent presentation skills, comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Must be adaptable to meet the needs of a dynamic, growth focussed company. Knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines, the key regulatory bodies (i.e. HPRA, EMA) and compliance and quality assurance (i.e GMP, GDP) is desirable. Responsibilities for Pharmacy Account Manager Developing new business opportunities and achieving new business sales targets with the pharmacy portfolio. Providing customers with technical/clinical advice and appropriate training and education on the safe and effective use of the pharmacy products. Monitoring and maintaining a live pipeline of new business delivery. Maintaining knowledge, understanding and awareness of products and key developments and changes in the target market. Build long-term customer relationships through education, support, and clinical value delivery. Attending industry conferences both nationally and internationally as well as promoting and supporting local workshops and study days. As the face of the organisation you must represent the company in an ethical manner at all times. Good time management ensuring that the needs and expectations of customers are managed and met across a large geographical territory.
