The Role
We are currently inviting applications for the position of Senior Chef de Partie. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced chef to further their career in a high-end, professional kitchen environment. As Senior Chef de Partie, you will be a key part of the kitchen leadership team, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional food across all dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage your designated section to the highest culinary standards.
* Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff including Commis and Chef de Partie colleagues.
* Maintain food quality and presentation standards in line with 5-star expectations.
* Assist with stock management, waste control, and cost efficiencies.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu design, specials, and seasonal offerings.
* Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Proactively support kitchen operations during busy service periods and events.
* Contribute positively to a motivated, professional kitchen culture.
Requirements
* Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a Chef de Partie or Senior CDP role within a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine dining environment.
* Professional culinary qualification or equivalent.
* Proven leadership and training capabilities.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure.
* Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for quality and consistency.
* Working knowledge of HACCP and kitchen safety procedures.
