BDO Ireland is growing and we are looking for ambitious Assistant Manager's to join our Audit Department.
This is a full-time position located at BDO Ireland's Head Office in Dublin.
This role presents avenues for professional advancement, involvement in challenging projects, and continuous learning within a collaborative setting.
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in execution of audits and will collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals.
This would require you to be involved in all stages of audit (planning, execution and reporting).

Key Responsibilities
Lead audit teams from planning to successful completion, ensuring high-quality standards.
Manage diverse client portfolios with tailored services across industries.
Strategically allocate staff resources for efficient project management.
Coach, guide and develop staff on the engagements
Proactively exceed client expectations as the primary point of contact.
Cultivate strong relationships with managers and team members.
Embody the firm's core values in department objectives and strategies.
Develop a good understanding of the sources of accounting and auditing literature.
Identify best practices on engagements and efficiently implement those.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
ACA or ACCA qualification with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Demonstrated proficiency in technical auditing and accounting, including expertise in ISAs and accounting standards such as FRS100 to FRS102 and IFRS.
Possess a robust market/commercial awareness.
Leadership skills demonstrating sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Strong communication skills coupled with a client service ethos.
Demonstrated adaptability to change.
