Overview
Payroll Analyst – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract. Location: Dublin, Ireland. Type: Full-time | Contract. A+F Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the technology sector to recruit a Payroll Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional to join a diverse and innovative business on a fixed-term basis.
Responsibilities
* Timely and accurate processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls across multiple locations
* Preparation of payroll-related reports and summaries for management
* Payroll posting and reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts
* Analysis of payroll costs and allocations by business unit
* Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and external stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and employment legislation
* Supporting month-end and year-end payroll processes
* Assisting Finance team members with ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements
* Minimum 2–3 years’ payroll experience, ideally in a multinational environment
* Strong understanding of accounting principles
* Knowledge of Irish and UK payroll regulations and taxation (experience with other jurisdictions an advantage)
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with UKG/Immedis or a similar outsourced payroll provider is desirable
* Exposure to multinational payroll environments
* Experience working with outsourced payroll providers
