We are seeking a motivated and committed Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join the Primary Care Team in Letterkenny.Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a community-based, multidisciplinary setting, providing high-quality physiotherapy services to people within the Primary Care framework.Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist: Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention for adults presenting with a range of conditions including musculoskeletal, mobility, falls, and general rehabilitation needs.Manage an independent caseload in line with Primary Care pathways and service priorities.Deliver evidence-based interventions, including individual and group programmes, where appropriate.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Primary Care Team including Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Dietetics, Psychology, Public Health Nursing, and Social Work.Liaise effectively with GPs, acute hospitals, and community services to ensure continuity of care.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HSE and CORU standards.Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.Engage in supervision, CPD, and ongoing professional development.Requirements for the Physiotherapist: Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.CORU registration (mandatory).Ability to manage a clinical caseload effectively in a community or primary care setting.Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.Desirable Experience Experience working in Primary Care, community, or outpatient settings.Experience managing musculoskeletal and/or older adult caseloads.Experience delivering group-based physiotherapy programmes.Why Join?
