Join an exciting new project in Dublin as a Project Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for an experienced professional to manage subcontract procurement, budgeting, cost forecasting, cash flow, and payments. You'll also handle valuation of construction options and prepare Bills of Quantities and material schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
14. Oversee the procurement, appointment, and management of subcontract and supply packages, ensuring compliance with procurement protocols and alignment with tender budgets.
15. Review and analyze proposals, comparing them with budget forecasts to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial goals.
16. Collaborate with teams to develop program versus cost cash flow projections.
17. Track progress, regularly reviewing programs and monitoring cost implications throughout the project lifecycle.
18. Prepare and maintain Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) data and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
19. Draft contracts and support the Commercial Manager in finalizing terms, ensuring all procurement activities align with project scope.
20. Partner closely with Senior Project Managers to foster a unified, "one team" approach, focused on delivering the project within time, cost, quality, and corporate responsibility objectives.
21. Provide timely, accurate data to the Commercial Lead to support reporting to the Project Director and Commercial Director.
22. Identify and implement waste reduction strategies, drive continuous improvement, and encourage collaboration within the team.
23. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to secure future business opportunities.
24. Support the development of a cohesive, high-performance, flexible, and supportive project delivery team, fostering an environment that is both rewarding and challenging.
25. Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, innovative problem-solving, and continuous learning.
26. Take ownership of personal development while actively contributing to the growth of team members and stakeholders.
27. Ensure all technical, Health & Safety, and training requirements are met, in compliance with regulatory standards and to enhance internal performance.
Requirements:
28. Third-level qualification in a construction-related discipline.
29. 6-8 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Construction/Engineering, preferably with a Main Contractor on CSA projects.
30. Proven track record delivering high-value projects (€30M+) from pre-construction/tender/design to completion and final accounts.
31. Experience with Joint Ventures and Public Works Contracts/NEC/PPP frameworks.
32. Familiarity with Buildsoft and Cubit software.
33. Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, and legal requirements.
34. Exposure to both Building and Civil projects.
35. Background in dispute resolution.
36. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
37. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
38. High accuracy and attention to detail.
39. C1-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
