Job Title: Clinical Psychologist, Staff Grade
The Role
The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for the delivery of psychological services within a multidisciplinary & interdisciplinary team structure to adults in the east Galway areas.
The Corlann model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures requiring employees to be flexible both in their approach and their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual.

Staff are required to establish and maintain relationships with adults with disabilities based on respect, equality, and promotion of independence.
Reporting
Head of Psychology Department/Deputy.
Clinical Supervision also provided by Senior Clinical Psychologist.
Qualifications / Experience
Candidates should satisfy Department of Health and Children as well as Psychological Society of Ireland Guidelines for appointment of Clinical Psychologists by the application deadline.

Essential Requirement: Full clean Irish Driving Licence (Class B).
Working Hours
70 hours per fortnight, generally within 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Remuneration
Department of Health Psychologist, Clinical salary scale (01/02/2026) - €62,596 ×10 increments – €100,666 (max) per annum.
LSI 1 €103,912 per annum payable after 3 years on the maximum of the scale.
LSI 2 €107,162 per annum payable after a further 3 years.
27 days per annum.
Travel
The person appointed must provide own car and furnish indemnity to insurers. Travelling expenses paid at appropriate rate for duty. Base travel likely in Loughrea and/or Clarinbridge area.
Probation
Probationary period of nine months from the date of appointment, may be extended at employer’s discretion.
