I’m partnering with a large enterprise to recruit a Director of Software Engineering to lead the delivery of high-impact digital experiences and guide multiple agile engineering teams. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on engineering and is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping platforms while staying close to the code.
What you’ll do
Define and execute a clear technology vision aligned with product and architecture leadership
Align product roadmaps with tech‑driven initiatives, including platform stability and end‑of‑life strategies
Lead, coach, and mentor developers, testers, and analysts—building the next generation of tech leaders
Act as the authority on engineering standards, best practices, and technical solutions
Provide hands‑on leadership on complex, cross‑team initiatives, delivering value incrementally
Champion engineering discipline and advocate for an excellent developer experience
What I’m looking for
8+ years of hands‑on experience as a full stack software engineer
Deep expertise in Java, Spring, Angular, and modern frameworks
Strong experience building high‑transaction, scalable, and highly available applications
Proven ability to design service‑oriented and responsive front‑end solutions
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
A passion for mentoring engineers and solving complex technical problems
