Customer Care and Sales Executive

Location:
Dundalk, Co. Louth (some travel required)

Reports to:
General Manager

Type:
Full-time, Permanent

Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a
Customer Care and Sales Executive
to join a progressive, purpose-driven organisation in Dundalk. This is a varied and fast-paced role that would suit an energetic professional or recent graduate eager to build a career in
sales, customer service, and account management
.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, supporting sales growth, and ensuring smooth order fulfilment from enquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
* Manage the customer database and achieve daily call and sales targets (40+ outbound calls per day).
* Accurately process orders received by phone, email, or website to ensure timely despatch.
* Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation where required.
* Liaise with warehouses for order despatch (manual handling certificate required).
* Process customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
* Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including cold calling and upselling new products.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and update customer details regularly.
* Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to support wider business objectives.
* Monitor individual performance against KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

* Previous experience in a
fast-paced sales or customer service
environment.
* Excellent
communication skills
— both written and verbal.
* High attention to detail with strong
numerical and administrative abilities
.
* Experience using
CRM systems
(e.g. Odoo, Salesforce) and proficiency in
Microsoft Word and Excel
.
* Proven ability to
multi-task, prioritise, and work to deadlines
.
* Strong
customer focus
and relationship-building skills.
* Manual handling certification
(for warehouse support duties).
* Motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently or within a team.
