Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for compassionate, hard-working, reliable, and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team across Ireland.Our dedicated team works within nursing homes and residential facilities to promote independence and ensure residents receive high-quality support.Your responsibilities include:· Assisting with daily living tasks while maintaining the comfort and dignity of residents.· Working as a professional and reliable member of the facility's care team.· Helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life within a community setting.What You'll Do· Personal Care: Provide all aspects of personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, while maintaining resident dignity.· Clinical Support: Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate mobility aids and positioning techniques.· Health Monitoring: Observe health, dietary intake, and fluid consumption; accurately record and report any concerns to the senior staff.· Medication Assistance: Prompt medication as per the individual Care Plan and facility protocols.· Nutrition: Prepare and serve meals, ensuring all specific dietary and nutritional needs are met.· Environment & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines and strict infection control procedures to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.· Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records and documentation in line with facility standards.· Social Wellbeing: Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction to residents.What We're Looking For:Nature: A caring, kind, and compassionate personality with a passion for helping others.Skills: Patience, trustworthiness, and excellent communication skills (fluent English is essential).Attitude: A proactive attitude and a deep commitment to delivering person-centred care.Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date care records and reporting.Qualifications: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or currently working towards it) / Equivalent qualification.Why Join Us?· Competitive Pay· Ongoing Paid Training and Career Progression Opportunities· HCS-Funded QQI Level 5 Access Route· Full Induction Training & Continuous SupportJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €30,014.40 per yearBenefits:Sick payWork Location: In person
