Job Description
We are seeking a talented Relief Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food experiences for our customers.
You will assist the Head Chef in controlling and directing food preparation processes, collaborate on menu planning to ensure a diverse and high-quality offering, supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and consistency, and manage kitchen supplies by planning orders and addressing shortages.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years in a chef role within a busy food business
* A degree in Culinary Science or a related certificate is desirable
* Strong kitchen management skills, ability to delegate tasks, and monitor team performance
* Personal attributes: outgoing, friendly, hardworking with excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Technical skills: familiarity with relevant computer programs (MS Office, POS)
