TrainingYou will be provided with the following training in the course of your apprenticeship:1. That on the job training will be provided under the supervision of a suitably qualified person.2. The off the job training will be provided at approved courses.DutiesYour responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to:· Carry out tasks related to the plumbing trade, under the supervision of a qualified plumber/instructor and consistent with apprenticeship year level. Attend off the job trade school to complete learning and assessment outcomes required for a plumbing apprenticeship.· Carry out construction, assembly, alteration or renovation of plumbing installations, possibly for domestic environments.· Carry out construction, maintenance and repair to existing plumbing.· Handle and store plumbing supplies/materials.· Follow appropriate manual handling techniques for manual tasks including lifting and moving items.· Drive vehicles and operate machinery (licensed users only)· Complete appropriate documentation.· Carry out theory and practical assessment tasks in a workplace plumbing site/training center· Read and interpret various types of construction/installation diagrams.Work/Life Balance – Local work back in yard at 4.30pmBenefits:On-site parkingCompany Pension ContributionWork/Life BalanceJob Type: Full-timePay: €350.00-€500.00 per weekBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
