Junior Sous Chef Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen activities, planning work assignments, and establishing performance goals for team members.
Main Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to manage day-to-day kitchen activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
* Maintain accurate costing and documentation of all dishes prepared and sold in the food and beverage operations.
* Plan food budgets and forecasts.
Requirements:
* 4-5 years of experience in hotels and/or busy restaurants.
* Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English Language.
* Familiarity with HACCP requirements in handling food.
* Strong leadership, training, communication, and organizational skills.
