Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to assist in the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant. The successful candidate will engage with all aspects including both Civil and MEICA elements of the construction and commissioning process, ensuring the project is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
The role involves supporting project delivery, providing document control support to site CM, maintaining EPS construction document registers, managing submittals through the approvals process, tracking procurement and delivery of equipment, completing receipt verification processes, liaising with design teams and supply chain to ensure systems comply with specifications and drawings, planning timelines for civil and MEICA installations, writing engineering reports, method statements, and commissioning schedules, ensuring technical assessments are completed as required, resolving technical issues promptly, procuring BOQ items on site, coordinating site labour, assisting with health and safety documentation, enforcing safe work practices onsite during EPS installation, preparing and submitting monthly site progress reports and presentations, evaluating RFI responses, reviewing and answering technical queries from site regarding specifications, drawings, materials, and equipment, issuing requisitions, ensuring materials delivered meet specifications and submittals, developing and maintaining Project Asset Registers, and compiling O&M files.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in PC skills to include MS office and Project software is advantageous.
* Good inter-personal and communication skills.
* Strong engineering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Will to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry.
* Interest in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time-restricted schedule.
