Business Analyst, Permanent, Life Sciences, Cork
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst/Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies and significant experience in the Life Sciences industry. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
* Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
* Identify and mitigate risks and impediments to ensure smooth project execution.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation.
* Provide guidance and support to team members on agile best practices and principles.
* Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring transparency and clarity for all stakeholders.
* Engage with clients in the Life Sciences sector to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions.
Key Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Scrum Master in an agile environment.
* Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
* Experience in the Life Sciences industry is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification is preferred.
