Quantity Surveyor required to join a leading Main Contractor in Galway. This client has a large pipeline of work in including Residential & Commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within the construction industry in an exciting, growing firm. Role: Procurement, appointment and management subcontractors & suppliers through to final account Produce accurate progress accounts Preparation and assessment of interim and final valuations for progress payments Monitor and report on project costs Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns Assist the pre-construction team in the delivery of tenders Stay updated on industry innovations, regulations etc Requirements: Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying Minimum 3 years relevant Irish experience ideally with a main contractor Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
