Position
Maintenance Manager
Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel are maintained in proper working order to the highest possible standards, safeguarding health and safety for staff and guests.
Responsibilities
Oversee upkeep of the hotel and grounds.
Log and prioritize maintenance requests at reception daily.
Develop and maintain proactive maintenance schedules for all hotel areas.
Manage records of external contractors and suppliers.
Ensure all plant equipment—boilers, radiators, lifts, fire alarm systems, pool plant, refrigeration, plumbing, air conditioning, and other machinery—remain fully functional and in good working order.
Coordinate basic repairs and liaise with external service providers and contractors.
Record, schedule, and address all maintenance issues in a timely fashion.
Meet with external inspectors and the fire officer to provide required documentation.

Requirements
3‑4 years’ experience in maintenance management.
Experience in preventive maintenance systems, equipment troubleshooting, budget and cost control.
Strong communicator and comfortable contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the business.
Flexibility and a proactive approach are a must.
Excellent communication and people management skills; enthusiastic and motivated.
