Training & Development OfficerFlexible Role | Subject to FundingThe No Name Club is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Training & Development Officer to support the growth and sustainability of our clubs across Ireland. This role places a strong emphasis on development identifying opportunities for new clubs, engaging local communities, and recruiting volunteers this role places a strong emphasis on development while also delivering high-quality training to support both new and existing clubs.Travel is required, with prior approval, to engage communities, deliver training, and support club development.Key ResponsibilitiesClub Development (Primary Focus)Identify and pursue opportunities to establish new No Name Clubs in key regions.Engage with schools, community groups, and local stakeholders to promote No Name Club and attract volunteers.Guide volunteers and local partners through the full setup process for new clubs.Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with volunteers and community contacts.Represent No Name Club at meetings, events, and outreach activities.Support volunteers in understanding their roles, responsibilities, and the operational standards of No Name Clubs.Provide ongoing mentoring, guidance, and support to ensure volunteers feel confident and equipped.Club SustainabilitySupport newly established clubs through their early development stages.Monitor the activity and wellbeing of clubs, identifying challenges early and offering solutions.Promote best practice and consistency across all clubs.Deliver training modules to new and existing volunteers.Assist in developing and updating training materials and learning resources.Internal Collaboration & ReportingWork closely with the No Name Club office and staff team to coordinate development priorities and training schedules.Maintain clear and accurate records of outreach, training sessions, volunteer engagement, and club progress.Prepare regular progress reports on development and training work.Other DutiesCarry promotional materials for outreach and presentations where required.Travel within Ireland, with prior approval, to support club development and training delivery.RequirementsStrong background in community engagement, outreach, or development work.Proven ability to build relationships with volunteers, schools, and community organisations.Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and public-speaking skills.Experience delivering training, workshops, or educational sessions.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook).Ability to learn and use digital platforms (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint, or similar).Full, clean driving licence and access to transport.Willingness and ability to travel within Ireland (with prior approval).DesirableExperience in youth work, volunteer coordination, or community leadership.Understanding of volunteer-based or non-profit organisations.Experience designing training content or educational resources.Major award at NFQ Level 6 or higher (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.Working HoursPart-time or full-time (hours to be confirmed).Travel within Ireland may be required to support club development and training.Flexible working hours to accommodate outreach events and meetings.Why Join Us?Contribute to a purpose-driven organisation empowering young people across Ireland.Work in a supportive, collaborative environment with a passionate team.Flexible working conditions.Application InstructionsSelected candidates will be invited for interview.Please insert "Training & Development Officer" in the subject line of your application email.Applications should be sent to Job Type: Full-timePay: From €35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Free or subsidised travelGym membershipOn-site gymOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
