Orange Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior HVAC & Building Services Technician to join a growing facilities team supporting a range of client sites across Dublin. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to work across a broad mix of mechanical and building services systems within a fast-paced facilities environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of critical plant and equipment, while also contributing to ongoing improvement and upgrade works. Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of mechanical and electrical building services equipment Carry out servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems including AHUs, split systems, ventilation units, and chillers Attend reactive maintenance callouts and resolve issues within agreed response times Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on-site, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Work independently across multiple sites, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to maintenance activities Complete all assigned technical and compliance training within required timeframes Ensure all maintenance records, reports, and service documentation are accurately completed and updated Assist with sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, and supporting procurement requirements when necessary Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records within the CAFM system Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining best practice standards across all locations Assist with small works projects, system upgrades, and site modifications alongside the M&E Manager Provide operational and maintenance data to support reporting and performance monitoring Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, industry regulations, and technical standards Promptly report hazards, incidents, or equipment concerns identified on-site Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support as required Requirements: Refrigeration Craft Qualification and valid F-Gas Certification (City & Guilds 2009 Category 1) Formal HVAC training with experience servicing air conditioning systems and air handling units Proven hands-on experience working with large chillers and complex HVAC plant Strong understanding of AHUs, ventilation systems, controls, and associated building services equipment Good working knowledge of heating systems including LPHW and CHW, along with strong plumbing and pipefitting ability Full clean driving licence Valid Safe Pass card RGI certification and experience working on domestic and commercial gas/oil boilers would be an advantage Previous post-apprenticeship experience within facilities maintenance or building services environments Strong fault-finding ability with a practical and solutions-driven approach to maintenance works Skills: Competent HVAC Technician Skilled HVAC Technician Knowledgeable HVAC Technician Capable HVAC Technician Proficient HVAC Technician
