Description
Relief Lifeguard - Hydrotherapy Pool
(Aligned to the Care Assistant (Disability Services) pay scale)
Relief Position
We are looking for a fully qualified lifeguard to work in the Hydrotherapy Pool in Montenotte on a relief – if and when required basis.
Salary: The 13 point salary scale for the post as of 01/08/2025.
New appointees to any grade start at the minimum point of the scale. Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland (Department of Health Circular 2/2011). Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies.
The applicant should:
* Have a third level qualification at minimum QQI 5 level
* Have a valid pool lifeguard qualification
* Be flexible in relation to working evening and weekend shifts
* Be enthusiastic, dedicated and attentive to pool safety protocols
* Experience of working with people with an Intellectual Disability and/or Autism
