Barden has partnered with a fast-growing investment management company in the energy sector who is seeking a commercially-minded Head of Finance to lead and scale its finance function during an exciting period of expansion.
Reporting directly to the CFO and managing a team of 12-14 people across 3 teams, this is a high-impact leadership role with broad responsibility across fund management, financial operations, transactions, and investor relations oversight.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead financial management of investment funds and SPVs, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, valuations, and investor communications.
* Oversee corporate reporting including budgeting, tax, treasury, and audit compliance.
* Drive process improvement, automation, and ERP optimisation to support future scale.
* Support tax structuring and financial due diligence for acquisitions, financings, and restructurings.
* Manage external service providers and build strong investor and lender relationships.
* Serve as a board director for selected SPVs and support investor relations initiatives.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Qualified accountant with 12+ years' PQE.
* Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
* Strong background in fund/SPV structures and complex transaction support.
* Track record of delivering finance transformation and process improvement at scale.
* Comfortable with ERP systems and automation tools.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project delivery skills.
