This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, evidence-based care to adults in the community.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
* Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult clients in a community and primary care setting.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans to promote independence and functional ability.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, and speech and language therapists.
* Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and case reviews.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with HSE guidelines.
Essential Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU).
* CORU registration (or evidence of application).
* Experience working with adult caseloads in community or primary care settings is desirable.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Full driver’s licence and access to own transport.
