From our state-of-the-art facility in Trim, Co.
Meath, we turn food waste into greener solutions.
Now we're looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join our team.
The Role
Base:
Trim depot (C15 A567)
You'll collect food waste from supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants across Ireland.
Vehicle:
Class C or Class CE –
CE preferred.
Independent role –
no crew, you're in charge of your route.
Working Hours
5 days a week, mainly Monday–Friday.
Some Saturdays and Public Holidays may be required.
Average ***** hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities
Complete scheduled food waste collections safely and on time.
Carry out routine vehicle checks before and after shifts.
Keep accurate records of collections and deliveries.
Use GPS tools for efficient route planning.
Maintain your truck in good, clean condition.
Follow driver hour regulations at all times.
Communicate clearly with the operations team.
Take part in training and safety briefings.
Essential Requirements
Full, clean driving licence – CE preferred.
At least 1 year of HGV driving experience.
(Food waste/recycling background is a bonus).
Flexibility for early starts, some weekend and Public Holiday shifts.
Strong organisation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
What We Offer
Daily Pay:
€150 per day (based on ***** hour week).
Subsistence Allowance:
€30 per day (tax-free in line with Revenue guidance, pro-rata for shorter shifts).
Work–Life Balance:
5-day week with limited weekend work.
