Project Manager Role Overview
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering clinical projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project sponsors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and timelines in alignment with organizational priorities.
* Team Coordination: Facilitate project meetings, document actions, and follow up with subject matter experts on deliverables.
* Risk Management: Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, escalating and mitigating as required.
* Budgeting: Track budgets and vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contractual and financial requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in a relevant field and have at least 2+ years' experience in project management. PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
* Clinical Background: A strong understanding of the medical device industry and its regulations.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks.
Able to manage project prioritization, scheduling, resource utilization, budgeting, and performance validations. Have a flexible mindset and be able to work in a fast-changing environment with competing priorities.
