Overview of Role
A technology client in the Airline sector has a requirement for a Project Manager to join the customer onboarding implementation team. The Project Manager will work with a variety of engineering teams through the PMO (system architects, software, special test equipment, integration, and test), managing schedule and performance risk, meeting commitments and anticipating and circumventing problems. You will be responsible for communicating with Account Managers and Product Owners to understand and document requirements for customer onboarding.
Objectives and Tasks
Perform project management tasks required to execute customer onboarding projects.
* Document project scope
* Manage project scope change using a change control process
* Develop and maintain project plans / schedules
* Develop and maintain risk and opportunity plans
* Align development, product, and account teams towards project scope and milestones
* Monitor, manage and report project level milestones, risks, issues, and decisions
* Solve problems and drive resolutions to closure
* Manage program communications internally to teams/stakeholders/leadership and externally to customers
* Interface with other teams to support onboarding activities
* Create and maintain Jira and Confluence artifacts to drive execution of project scope
* Weekly project status report
Educational requirement
* Degree qualified with a recognised Project Management qualification
