InterContinental Dublin are currently recruiting for a Reservations Agent to join our team. The InterContinental Dublin is located in the leafy suburbs of Ballsbridge, within close proximity to the RDS, Aviva Stadium and is on a frequently serviced bus & DART line. Responsibilities
* Handle and process all aspects of individual and group room reservations, including making reservations, processing payments and confirming arrangements.
* Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, room needs, and questions.
* Enter reservations into the PMS system in the correct format and communicate information to other departments as needed.
* Check arrival lists and ensure all special requests are followed up correctly.
* Print reports and verify reservation details; follow up on reservation traces.
* Keep blocks, party name lists and arrangements updated; coordinate with sales as required.
* Enter group rooming lists and manage related administrative tasks.

* Exceptional attention to detail with a strong administrative background.
* Team player with clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication.
* Flexible to changing priorities and able to follow up to project completion.
* Work closely with other departments to achieve desired outcomes; resourceful and creative when faced with obstacles.
* Own assigned responsibilities and meet deadlines; maintain a polished and professional demeanor when client facing.
* Ability to take full ownership for specific market segments.
Operations and Experience
Opera PMS System Experience is essential.
Working Saturdays is a requirement for this role.
